Sandstone Oushak - Washable Rug - JRN1128

This cream, soft green and rust traditional washable rug offers a warm, distressed vintage aesthetic designed for modern functional spaces.

About This Style

Traditional design draws on the rich heritage of Oriental rugs, using ornate motifs refined over centuries. It is characterised by symmetrical, carefully balanced compositions with a timeless sense of elegance. Oushak-inspired designs, named after the historic rug-making town of Uşak in western Anatolia, are known for their large-scale palmettes and open, airy floral layouts in soft, muted tones. A heavily distressed, vintage-inspired finish softens the pattern and gives it the gentle, weathered character of a well-loved heirloom. In Sandstone Oushak, rust, mauve and soft green palmettes spread across a warm cream ground, framed by a slim floral border.

Where It Works

The flatwoven construction allows this rug to lie flat against the floor, making it suitable for high-traffic areas such as hallways, kitchens, and entryways. Its profile is ideal for use under furniture and for layering in open-plan living areas. The blended material composition is engineered for everyday use in busy households.
