Ochre Nomad - Washable Rug - JRN1143
This ochre and grey tribal Persian washable rug offers a rich, distressed vintage aesthetic designed for modern functional spaces.
About This Style
Tribal design draws on the rug traditions of nomadic communities across Persia and Anatolia, known for bold geometric motifs and symbolic patterns. It is characterised by stylised forms, such as diamonds, hooks, and small plant and animal figures, arranged with a lively, spontaneous rhythm. Here, a classic Qashqai-inspired layout of stacked diamond medallions sits within a stepped central field, surrounded by layered borders. A heavily distressed, vintage-inspired finish softens the pattern and gives it the character of a rug treasured for generations. In Ochre Nomad, ivory and slate grey medallions with fine green outlines rest on a warm, faded ochre ground.
Where It Works
The flatwoven construction allows this rug to lie flat against the floor, making it suitable for high-traffic areas such as hallways, kitchens, and entryways. Its profile is ideal for use under furniture and for layering in open-plan living areas. The blended material composition is engineered for everyday use in busy households.
